1. Introduction
The Accessible Org ("we," "us," or "our") operates The Accessible Org ("the Service"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and protect your information when you use the Service.
2. Information We Collect
Account Information
When you create an account, we collect your email address and, if you sign in via Google, your name and profile photo as provided by Google. We do not store your Google password.
Uploaded Documents
When you use the Service, you upload PDF files for accessibility conversion. These documents are processed by our systems and may be temporarily stored during conversion. Converted output files are stored in your account until you delete them.
Usage Data
We automatically collect information about how you interact with the Service, including pages visited, features used, conversion settings, file sizes, and processing times. This data helps us improve the Service and diagnose issues.
Payment Information
If you subscribe to a paid plan, payment processing is handled by Stripe. We do not store your credit card number. We receive and store your billing name, email, and subscription status from Stripe.
3. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to:
- Provide, maintain, and improve the Service
- Process your document conversions
- Manage your account and provide customer support
- Process payments and prevent fraud
- Send transactional emails (account verification, conversion status, billing)
- Monitor service performance and diagnose technical issues
- Comply with legal obligations
We do not sell your personal information. We do not use your uploaded documents to train AI models.
4. Third-Party Services
The Service uses the following third-party providers to operate. Each provider has its own privacy policy governing how they handle data:
- Supabase — authentication and database hosting
- Cloudflare — content delivery, file storage, and edge computing
- Google — OAuth sign-in (when you choose "Continue with Google")
- Stripe — payment processing
- Anthropic (Claude) — AI-powered document analysis and image descriptions
- Google Gemini — AI-powered document processing

Document content may be sent to AI providers (Anthropic, Google) for processing during conversion. These providers process data according to their API terms and do not retain your content for model training.
5. Data Retention
Your account information is retained for as long as your account is active. Uploaded documents and converted files are retained until you delete them or close your account. Usage logs are retained for up to 90 days. Payment records are retained as required by tax and financial regulations.
6. Data Security
We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your data, including encryption in transit (TLS), encrypted storage, and access controls. However, no method of electronic transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

9. Children's Privacy
The Service is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.
